ok, Im stuck how do I make an animated gif. I dont understand how to get the layers and the things I want into the layers to animate it.

Open it in ImageReady, click the 'add new frame' button in the lower left, and on each frame select the layers you want to be visible while making the others invisible (by clicking the eye icon).
